Goodbye, Chrome: Google’s web browser has become spy software

Look in the upper right corner of your Chrome browser. See a picture or a name in the circle? If so, you’re logged in to the browser, and Google might be tapping into your Web activity to target ads. Don’t recall signing in? I didn’t, either. Chrome recently started doing that automatically when you use Gmail.

Saat ini aplikasi peramban (browser) yang banyak digunakan oleh pengguna mobile atau desktop adalah Google Chrome, bahkan ada yang menuliskan bahwa Chrome ini sudah jadi seperti Internet Explorer sewaktu dulu yang sudah ada terinstall di sistem operasi Windows.

Hanya saja, seperti yang artikel itu tulis, Google Chrome sudah menjadi alat untuk monitoring kita sebagai pengguna, untuk apalagi kalau buka untuk bisnis iklannya Google, yang mana ini penyumbang revenue tertinggi, dengan adanya perambah Chrome sebagai enabler dari bisnis iklannya.

Publis artikel mengenai finansial memang gampang-gampang susah, dan ini terkait dengan pengalaman menggunakan aplikasi dompet digital yang saat ini sedang menjamur di indonesia, khususnya jakarta.

Been a fan of Firefox for a while, testing out their new services (and they shut it down) or just using their products on a daily basis, now they launched Lockwise.

This one though is a huge jump for me, a password manager, i’ve been a loyal and fans of 1Password to manage my passwords, and can Lockwise replace 1Password?

Firefox as a browser could store our credentials and stored it in their cloud, and could sync it between devices, that only effective if you are a Firefox user of course, by using Lockwise, those app will share and sync the same credentials that we manage, from browser or via Lockwise app. and can pull out the credentials (username, password) from Lockwise when we need to login say on the mobile app, just like 1Password did.

Watching this, a blast from the past, remind me of the journey, experiencing the evolution of the desktop computing and its interface, both windows and mac.

Yes there’s a lot of other OSes that i’ve been play with like OS/2, Novell netware, GNU/Linux (Suse, Slackware, Mandrake in particular), BSDs, Solaris.

Bercerita tentang 2 anak Bima dan Dara, dan seperti judulnya, mengenai 2 garis, hamil dan bagaimana mereka sampai kesana dan bagaimana mereka menghadapi itu semua setelah positif. 2 garis.

Tentunya kita semua tahu bagaimana mereka sampai ke posisi, tapi yang sangat menarik di film ini bagaimana 2 anak menghadapi ini semua, diceritakan mereka adalah murid kelas 3 SMU[A] (U atau A sih sekarang?), yang pastinya hormonnya sedang naik-naiknya, ingin mengetahui ini itu terkait dengan sistem di tubuhnya. Di film tidak diceritakan secara detail apalagi vulgar bagaimana itu terjadi (masih bingung dengan ada petisi penolakan film ini atas dasar apa), yang pasti, itu semua sudah terjadi.
